Mobile Fence is designed to analyze which apps are running on the screen to track and control usage time.

Music streaming apps can operate in the background without a screen display, so Mobile Fence cannot calculate music playback time.

In other words, music listening time is not deducted from the set daily usage limit.

However, if the device has entered a restricted time zone or the daily usage limit has already been exceeded, it is designed to stop music playback as soon as possible. In most cases, it stops when the next track begins to play. For this to work, the MDM agent must be turned on. (Even if MDM is on, it may not work properly depending on the device environment and the music app being used.)
